Paradise Watersports in Ocean City is a very busy summer destination surrounded by many major metropolitan cities within a few hours drive!
We are the most visible location with the largest number of customers in all of Maryland, featuring brand new equipment every summer! A short season from Memorial Day to Labor Day, with potential to make quite a bit of money. Pay will be based on experience.
We have many return employees every year as this is not your typical summer job! You will enjoy working in your bathing suit and spending many hours each day on the water with new friends. We are looking for self motivated, reliable, and quick thinking individuals. The equipment we rent can be extremely dangerous if not operated properly, so you must take customer safety as your first prioirty. Guides and cashiers will be required to hold a boaters safety card and CPR certification for employment and guides will go through a 3 hour training with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (Free).
CURRENTLY HIRING ALL POSITIONS

Personal Watercraft Guides(Jet Ski Guides) are responsible for instructing customers how to safely operate their rented PWC and inform customers of Maryland laws for operating PWCs as well as enforcing Maryland PWC laws on renters. Guides will lead a group of renters to our designated riding area and ensure safe operation of all rented watercraft from Paradise Watersports. Guides may also be responsible for instructing customers on how to operate and follow Maryland laws on pontoon boats.

Cashiers are responsible for taking reservations, answering phones, and ensuring all paperwork is filled out correctly by customers. Cashiers may at times be required to assist guides with jet ski and pontoon boat rentals as needed.

Our dockhands provide an orientation to boat renters, assist with docking and maintenance, and a variety of other dock duties. Our dockhands are able to work well with people, have patience and a willingness to learn.

Parasail mates are the captains right hand man. Your responsibilities will include customer safety, taking pictures, helping customers with gear and safety instructions, and working with the captain to inflate and deflate parachutes.
